Did i eat too much today if im trying to lose a few?

Not too much, but you need to replace the starches with vegetables. Instead of mashed potatoes, try to eat a bright-colored vegetable like red pepper or carrots. Instead of chips, use raw veg to dip into your salsa. And if you can eat one cookie and a couple pieces of fruit, you'll be eating more healthy and also a couple hundred less calories a day.
