What are the advantages of forming a S-Corp over a C-Corp?

uming a LLC is not available, what is the advantage of forming a S-Corp over a C-Corp in New York City? I'll have to pay entity taxes with any corporation I form unless I zero my profits at the end of the year with a C-Corp, so why would I form a S-Corp? Is the accounting the same? Thanks!
