What about the children? How is this little boy going to feel now?

Poor little Falcon Heene, the little boy who was supposedly swept up in a balloon blew the gaffe when the Police interviewed him after finding him hiding in his home by saying his Dad masterminded it for TV. The parents, Richard and Mayumi have received 90 and 20 days respectively for this elaborate hoax which went around the globe! But, now there are some small children who won't have their parents home for Christmas and the little guy will get the blame from his siblings, like it or not, that's human nature and aged six his reasoning won't be all that great will it? He won't lay the blame at their door - just at his own. What are your feelings on all of this?
