Is it too late to learn Chemistry?

I'm 21 years old. I'm majoring in Anthropology at the moment...but I realized it wasn't for me. I've always had a love to physical sciences; most notably chemistry and physics. Though I haven't taken a chemistry cl since High School...is it too late to learn chemistry? I have a profound pion for it...what you do chemists out there advise? I really want to immerse myself in the discipline; should I buy myself a professional chemistry kit?
