Can anybody recommend any books to read for the holidays?

I have a weeks holiday and I'm bored. I like reading books such as: Harry potter, The Eragon Series, Artemis Fowl, Clive Cussler books, Da Vinci code, angels & demons, the bourne series, percy jackson, crusade (by robyn young) etc. Mostly adventure types- can anybody recommend some really good books that are not on this list?????
