Does the song Over and Out by Alkaline Trio have anything to do with the Vietnam War, and if so, what?

the answer is, kind of. it deals with ptsd, or post traumatic stress disorder. which has been officially doented since ww1(roughly) but did'nt get much publicity until vietnam when America saw a m number of soldiers who served start killing themselves and others, i.e. charles whitman and lee harvey oswald. it aslo did not get any medical backing until this time too, scientists began studying it when they saw what was happening. also ptsd wasn't called ptsd in wars before vietnam, it was called cowardice, people thought fighting men should be mentally strong and if they could'nt stand it, they were just mentally weak. many were studied "scientifically" up to vietnam, as in lobotomies, hypnotics, electro shock, and experimental drugs, to name a few favorites. vietnam saw these barbarian practies destroyed and ushered in the process we see today for dealing with people suffering from ptsd, which is still monumentaly flawed.
