Is it possible for me to be related to either Leonardo Davinci or Edgar Allen Poe? My family believes we are.?

If you count 4th cousin "X" times removed as being related, sure, it is possible. Proving it would be the tough part. "X" would be a bigger number for Leonardo than for Edgar; figure 30 years per generation, on average, and one generation per removed.
